History: Bibleway Outreach Ministries was founded on February 1, 1997 by Bishop Renzil Barringer, under direction from God and the support of his wife, Lady Emma Barringer. The first service was held February 8, 1997 in the home of one of the earliest members, Carolyn and Cody Milam and the Holy Ghost fell, confirming God’s presence with the ministry. After securing a building, services were held at 6573 Hwy 178 West. The name was later changed to Bibleway Outreach Fellowship. In May 2003, the church broke ground on a new building and in 2004 services began in the current location at 6742 Hwy 178, Byhalia, MS 38611. Bishop Renzil Barringer served faithfully as pastor for 26 years, until his death. Pastor Larry Bowie was installed as pastor on April 21, 2024, and currently to serves with the support of his wife, Lady Linda Bowie.

Church Mission: To reach the lost for the Kingdom of God and to build a people of faith, purpose, power and praise for the perfecting of the ministry of the Lord Jesus Christ”.

The Five Purposes of the Church

1. Love the Lord Thy God with all thy heart, soul, and mind (Matthew 22:37-38)

2. Love thy neighbor as thyself (Matthew 22:39-40)

3. Evangelize- Go make disciple (Matthew 28:19)

4. Baptism is Jesus Name ( Matthew 28:19)

5. Obedience to the Word of God (Matthew 28:20)

Doctrinal Statement: WE BELIEVE that the Bible is the inspired, infallible (unalterable) Word of God, written by holy men of old, as they were moved by the Holy Ghost.

WE BELIEVE in one God who is infinite in power, holy in nature, attributes and purposes, as well as omniscient and omnipresent. We believe that he was revealed to us as Father in creation, as Son in redemption, and as Holy Spirit in His grace that never leaves those who trust Him

WE BELIEVE that in Jesus dwelleth all fullness of the Godhead body, for it please the Father that in Him should all fullness dwells.

WE BELIEVE in the Virgin Birth. Jesus was both human and divine. He was God manifested in flesh.

WE BELIEVE in the death, burial, and resurrection of Jesus. We believe that he ascended on high and has sent his spirit, the Holy Ghost, which was poured out at Jerusalem over 1900 years ago, and it is the same spirit that is filling the hearts of those who diligently seek Him today.

WE BELIEVE in baptism in water by immersion in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ for the remission of sins, and in the baptism of the Holy Ghost, speaking in other tongues as the Spirit gives utterance. This constitutes the new birth.

WE BELIEVE in a holy, sanctified life, We believe in divine healing, communion, and footwashing. We believe also in the glorious catching away (the Rapture) of the saints when Jesus returns in the clouds in glory to take his people to Heaven,

WE FURTHER BELIEVE that JESUS is the only saving name and whatsoever you do in word or in deed, do all in the name of Jesus.
