MINISTER TONY MILAM

Tony Milam is a native of Byhalia, MS and graduate of Byhalia High School class of 1998. He joined Bibleway Outreach Fellowship in 2000 and has served in many capacities, including, the Sound Ministry, Men’s Team Leader, and as armor bearer to the late Bishop Renzil Barringer.

In 2019, he submitted to the will of God accepting the call to preach and was ordained by Bishop Barringer, who he credits as a mentor and one of the most influential leaders in his life. He preached his first sermon March 24, 2019, and was often advised by Bishop Barringer to “Always preach with passion” which serves as inspiration to him to this day.

Minister Milam is an energetic, charismatic speaker that often uses demonstrations and visuals to relay the principles outlined in the scriptures. He dedicates himself to prayer, fasting, and studying the Word. One of his favorite scriptures is “For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek.”-Romans 1:16. Through the ministering of the Word, he hopes to provoke sinners to repentance and inspire all hearers to seek deeper relationship with God, grow in the knowledge and wisdom of God and become bold, compassionate, effective disciples so that the power of God may be demonstrated and the Kingdom be expanded .

Minister Milam is a devoted husband to Charity Barringer Milam and a caring father. He is a 2004 graduate of the University of Memphis with a Bachelor’s in Management Information Systems. He is also a licensed realtor in the state of Mississippi. In the future he hopes to return to school to earn a degree in biblical studies.
